There is an Office Chat on Myspace with people every now and then and on Thursday, July 26, 2007, Sarah (Host) chatted with Angela!! She gave some **SPOILERS** for next season! I didn't realize Angela and Pam were BFF in real life.. hmm.. bet those are some awesome conversations.

Angela_Kinsey joined.

Sarah: Welcome!!

AK: thank you!

S: Thanks for joining us tonight! We have lots of fan questions but I wanted to say thanks again for taking the time to do this little chat!

AK: I'm excited to talk to you guys!

S: Before we get to fan questions I wanted to talk about the EMMYS!

AK: I even spoke to Greg Daniels today and he has a few Season 4 tidbits I can share later on

S: Lovely!

AK: great!

S: So how did it feel to get a show nomination! And you must tell us have you thought about your Emmy Dress!

AK: We're all thrilled! to get 9 nominations really blew us away and of course, I spazzed out for Jenna

S: I prayed to the Emmy gods the night before!

AK: thank you Emmy gods!

S: yes they were good to you guys this year!

AK: as far as Emmy dress, I'm up for any ideas. last year, I got mine at the mall

S: You guys always look great and we all look forward to hear Steves speech. he does the best speeches!!

AK: I'd love to hear Rainn's speech. can you imagine what he'd say?

S: Well I want to hear them all

AK:

S: Rainn omg it would be funny

AK: me too me too!

S: You and Jenna might do some dress shopping together?

AK: Jenna'll probably get a stylist and I'll probably just be hitting the mall again

S: Hey I shop the mall at least once a week!

AK: anyone a designer out there that specializes in children's sizes?

S: American Girl? hahah kidding

AK: hahaha

S: So everyone wants to know about Jenna anything you can tell us

AK: she's doing better..I just hung out with her yesterday. she said to say Hi to everyone

S: wonderful. so lets get to some of the fans questions! You ready

AK: OK! fantastic!

S: Did you know when you got the part of Angela that you would end up with Dwight. Even if you didn't, how did you react when you heard that part of the story line for the first time?

AK: I didn't know and noone else did! The writers discovered that storyline well into Season 2. I remember when we sat down at the table read for "Jim's BBQ" At the end, it said that Dwight and Angela's birckenstocks were rubbing back and forth. the whole room lost it laughing

S: So what were you and Rainn saying to eachother during that scene?

AK: John was like NO! NO! NO! and Rainn said that it totally made sense

S: It does... So you were excited

AK: well we were in a little doll house outside. everyone else was inside. we had someone crouching under the house to tell us when the camera was rolling on us and on action, Rainn would climb on top of me and do a girl's pushup, basically because he's a gentleman

S: I can only imagine what Rainn was saying to you LOL

AK: and I just giggled the whole time

S: As we all did once the shock wore off. Next question

S: Angela are you and your character anything alike?

AK: I don't think so..I mean, we both have cats and I'm fairly organized but I think she would consider me a hussie

S: HA!

AK: but then again, in her eyes, everyone's a hussie especially Phyllis

AK: not until today! I just saw it as one of your users! wow!

S: Is there an actor/actress you have always wanted to work with?

AK: hmm there are so many running through my head right now..

S: pick two if you can

AK: I know it sounds cliche, but Meryl Streep would probably rock my world she kills me

S: good one she is GREAT

AK: Brad Pitt hahaha

S: LOL. Can you still read and speak Indonesian

AK: yes. saya besa .. or is it bisa

S: Okay this is a cool fan question

S: Did you find it hard moving from Indonesia to the U.S? Also can you speak any Indonesian? I'm learning it at school so if you still know any... AK: my indo is rusty but I got the gist of it.. waduh

S: What is the coolest perk you've had since being famous, and what's the thing you miss the most since becoming famous?

AK: well honestly, I don't feel all that famous!

S: Well here you are!

AK: I think of famous people like Lohan or Clooney but I guess one of the coolest perks is the people you get to meet and the places you get to travel to. I find people fascinating

S: Oh dear... that poor Lohan....Speaking of traveling....would you perhaps be going back to Scranton for the Convention???

AK: I'd love to go again! I hope it all works out by the way, the Bog is one of the best bars I've ever been to!

S: What is your favorite 'Dwangela' scene?

AK: I love the scene in the kitchen in the last webisode. Angela's convinced Michael took the money.. and the one at the lake where he says sabotage and she thinks he said sandwich.

S: I love the scene at the wedding Break Left LOL oh yea!

AK: yeah that was a fun one! I improvised some of that

S: And Andy floating down the river. What Andy I cant hear you LOL. next question

S: You are such a happy person, from what I've seen, how do you go from that happy person to Angela the sourpuss, so easily?

AK: I'm not very confrontational in real life. I'm really Southern that way you know, I say "Hi! How are you? I'm sorry" so it's a lot of fun for me to put on the %%%%% hat. maybe because she's so different from myself, it's easier for me to make the switch

S: LOL Since you are Southern and I am in Atlanta.... I have to ask.... do you like sweet tea?

AK: hell yeah!

S: right on! Next question

S: BJ Novak recently revealed that this season (4) will be very Dwight heavy. Is it safe to assume, therefore, that it will be very Angela heavy? More of you and Rainn would be fantastic (I'm a much bigger Dwangela fan than Jam fan).

AK: thanks..go team Dwangela! I can say that there's going to be a huge Dwangela twist

S: wanna give us a little hint?? like Angela gets prego? hahaha

AK: all I can say is that they're turning up the heat

S: Will other people find out about the romance? I can't wait for Michael to find out!

AK: maybe????

S: hmmmmmmmmmm

S: we will leave it at that!

AK: I can't say any more...Greg Daniels will hurt me

S: What was your line when Jim walked into Dwight's hotel room and you were on the bed?

AK: D? I call Dwight "D" in private. yes that was me on the bed and John's face killed me every time. I had pink pajamas on with black polka dots

S: okay wow that was a GREAT scene! next question

S: Are you on any exercising or dietary regime to keep yourself looking as fine as you do?

AK: why thank you, Andrew! I try to do something athletic every day and I eat whatever I want but..I'm tiny! I mean, I come from tiny people

S: I have had the pleasure of meeting you and you are very in shape and perhaps a bit tiny next question

S: I read she is guest starring on this Friday's episode of Monk. I was just wondering what character she plays and how prominently she is featured in the episode?

AK: I met Tony Shalhoub at a press junket and we hit it off they called and ask me to guest star and I had a blast. I'm in a few scenes with Tony and he is amazing, the whole cast was so warm and friendly.

S: So I guess that airs this Friday then

AK: yes, it does

S: we will have to tune in

S: What is your all-time favorite episode of "The Office"

AK: This is a tough one, but I'll go with the first Christmas episode written by Mike Schur. I feel like we rounded a corner with that episode and really took off

S: Mine is the Injury or Traveling Salemen...all the Xmas episodes have been GREAT!

AK: Yankee Swap was a blast

S: I will never look at an Ipod the same way

AK: honestly I love every episode..I'm kind of a dork for my own show

S: Lee E is doing a cast chat next week so I am excited to get a writers view on the show and yes they are all great! but I am biased LOL

AK: Lee is great..tell him I said hi! ask him if we'll have another Hooters episode?

S: I will; next question

S: Who found the poster with the baby playing sax? It's awesome!

AK: we actually created that ourselves, they hired two babies and our props guy set the whole thing up and took pictures

S: Really

AK: yes and the first time we saw it was with the camera rolling and every single cast member lost it. and they had to yell cut and reshoot the reveal

S: oh so those were true reactions! LOL. next question

AK: yeah some of them were the true reactions

S: Do you ever want to be able to venture out of the Office set more like in Women Appreciation Day? Maybe see the home life of Angela? How she presents herself before coming into work or follow her home afterwards?

AK: I would love that..I'd love to see a weekend with Angela Martin. first she might have her mall walking club then, some volunteer cat rescue work. really exciting stuff

S: I would LOVE to see Angela's house! or her and Dwight on a date

AK: definitely!

S: where do you think Dwight and Angela go on dates? necking in the movies?

AK: I'd love to see her, Dwight and Mose take a road trip they'd probably mess around in his Z28 or is it a Camaro? that maroon muscle car he drives

S: We need to start a petition!!

S: Trans Am

AK: ahhh busted! nice one Sarah

S: well its my fave Dwight line to Andy If you drove a trans am you would be the smartest idiot I know oh dear I am dorky LOL

AK: that is a great line

S: next question!

S: If you could play any other character in The Office who would it be and why?

AK: Kevin. I'll tell you why: it'd be great to play someone who has no edit button whatsoever and lets every thought and emotion come over his face

S: LOL and plays in a band! next question

S: What do you see as Angela Martin's best and worst trait?

AK: best trait--she's fiercely loyal worst--everything in her world is black and white

S: we were all scared for Andy!

AK: yeah she's a little hardcore sometimes.

S: I can not wait to hear what color is going to be whorish this year. I think that needs to be a running joke every season. let the writers know LOL

AK: let's see, it started with green then was orange..but it's basically whatever color Phyllis has on

S: every Xmas episode you can take credit! hahaha; next question

S: Would Angela like to see season 4 explore what seems to be a growing friendship between Angela and Oscar? How do you think Dwight would handle that?

AK: I think Oscar's Angela's best friend in the office...I've always thought that, that's why him hiding his sexuality to her was such a betrayal..she thought she knew everything about him

S: You guys have some great scenes this last season

AK: I think the whole accounting corner is like a dysfunctional family

S: It was nice to see Angela upset that she may have hurt someones feelings

AK: Oscar and I are the couple that've grown complacent and Kevin is our slow child

S: it was the nice Ms. Martin LOL

AK: I'd love to see more accounting and more Angela and Oscar--I think Dwight could handle it

S: next questoin

S: Angela we love your character's facial expressions, in particular, what motivation do you draw on when creating your lusting expressions for Dwight?

AK: I look at Dwight through Angela Martin's eyes and he is this chivalrous knight and I imagine she loves that

S: LOL but I am sure Rainn makes it hard sometimes...

AK: she loves a guy that takes charge

S: who makes you laugh the most and break the scene?

AK: oh Rainn makes it SO hard whenever I have to look Rainn in the face and we have to say this crazy dialogue with such high stakes. for example, no cookie for you

S: Oh yea the famous line

AK: looking at him with a serious face and saying that as he says, "but what if I'm hungry?" with equal seriousness just killed me

S: people all over america now call sex cookie because of you guys!

AK: no way!

S: LOL people talk about that line in the chat all the time its GREAT! next question

S: When you first moved to LA...what (besides your accent) gave away that you were southern? ordering sweet tea LOL

AK: I called people ma'am and sir and I had a lady yell at me and say "I'm not that old! Stop calling me ma'am"

S: I love it when you do ya'll in your blogs

AK: I can't help it...'ya'll' is just a part of my vernacular. I think it always will be

S: hey I understand I say it a million times a day LOL okay I think this will be our last fan question

S: What do you think Angela's stance is on pre-marital relations? The show has alluded to some pretty steamy going ons between her and Dwight which seems to contradict her almost nun-like demeanor. Do you think she'll ever come face to face with this hypocrisy?

AK: wow..ending on a deep one. umm

S: thats what she said!

AK: you know, I try to make Angela Martin a real person and not just a stereotype

AK: omg Sarah!

S: couldnt help it hahaha to easy

AK: very Michael Scott of you

AK: and real people are complex and have things they struggle with. I think Angela Martin struggles with her love for Dwight and the temptations that it brings. it gives her a lot of layers which I love to play

S: I sometimes think Angela was hurt really bad when she was younger.... thats why she is so icy as protection but thats just my thoughts LOL

AK: well she does have a sister she hasn't spoken to in years and is proud of that. pretty sad

S: sooooo are you excited for Aug 6th!! ready to bust out the tight ponytail?

AK: I'm so excited and I can't wait for Aug 3rd...that's our first table read day

S: any hints for the upcoming season? that Greg won't kill you about

AK: yes I'm hoping I can keep my bangs for this new season. I was told by Greg that I could say the following:

AK: Jan moves into Michael's condo with him

AK: Ryan is trying to bring the company into the present with a big online website initiative and one of my cats gets very sick that's all he'd let me share

S: Dwight doing some CPR on a cat LOL

AK: that would be hilarious!
